Our Story

Crystal Visions was born out of a shared passion for the music of Fleetwood Mac and the joy of playing together. What started as a spark of an idea between friends quickly blossomed into something more—a band rooted in connection, respect for the craft, and a deep appreciation for one of rock’s most iconic groups.

We found each other through Austin’s vibrant music community—some were fellow students at the School of Rock, others coworkers, or bandmates in other groups. When the idea for a Fleetwood Mac tribute band emerged, everything just clicked. The timing was right, and so were the people.

From our first rehearsal in Spring 2023, we’ve focused on one thing: honoring the sound, spirit, and emotional depth of Fleetwood Mac. We are driven by a commitment to quality and authenticity and are always looking for new ways to immerse our audiences in the Fleetwood Mac mystique.

Since taking the stage, Crystal Visions has been bringing the Fleetwood Mac experience to audiences across the Austin area and beyond—covering the band’s legendary catalog from their raw blues beginnings to the classic songs of the '70s and '80s. You’ll hear everything from the Peter Green era to Rumours and their 80s synth pop hits! Visit the Shows page for upcoming performances.

Band Bios

Charlotte Wise

Lead Vocals + Auxiliary Percussion

Originally from Marshall, Michigan, Charlotte grew up in choir and musical theatre but didn’t sing solo on stage until the age of 42—inspired by her dad, a lifelong guitarist and luthier. What started as a late-blooming leap of faith quickly became a passion, and she’s been making up for lost time ever since.

Charlotte’s voice is shaped by a wide range of influences—from the warmth and clarity of her idols Natalie Merchant, Harriet Wheeler, and the Indigo Girls to the raw intensity and power of Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, and Steve Perry. Since 2018, she’s been the lead vocalist of Black Days, Austin’s tribute to 90s grunge, and also lends her voice to Rule The World, a tribute to Tears for Fears.

Joining the Austin music scene has been one of the greatest joys of her life—a chance to make music with dear friends and be part of a creative, supportive community. When she’s not on stage, Charlotte loves traveling, discovering new food spots, trail running with her German Shepherds, and hanging out with her husband and daughters.

Her favorite Fleetwood Mac songs are “You Make Loving Fun” and “Dreams.”

Amanda Chell

Lead Vocals + Auxiliary Percussion

Hailing from the small Southeast Texas town of Winnie, Amanda has been singing since she could talk. Her early influences included Mariah Carey, Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, the Eagles, and pretty much all things '90s R&B, but her favorite band is Tool.

Over the last ten years she has performed with The Wailsharks (pop/rock covers), Louvin's Muse (Americana originals), The Reminders ('80s, '90s, & '00s covers) and the Austin School of Rock Adult Performance Program.

When she isn't vibing on stage, Amanda loves hanging with her family, reading, hot yoga, and learning about the modern wellness landscape.

Her favorite songs to sing in the set are "Gold Dust Woman" and "Landslide".

Scott Bonneau

Lead Vocals + Lead Guitar

Scott Bonneau plays the Lindsey Buckingham role on vocals and lead guitar for Crystal Visions. A native of the Boston area, he’s called Austin home since 1999.

Scott picked up the guitar at age 12 and has been performing in bands for over 30 years. In addition to fronting Crystal Visions, he's released a couple of albums of original music, as well as several tributes to his favorite songs and artists.

His passion for sound extends beyond the stage—he’s also the owner and chief engineer of Studio 465, a recording studio in Dripping Springs, TX.

Scott brings decades of experience and a deep love for recreating that authentic Fleetwood Mac experience to every performance.

Rochelle Kraus

Drums + Backup Vocals

Ro is a lifelong lover of all kinds of music. Born in New York City, she grew up in Houston, TX, where she started piano lessons at the age of seven. She played percussion in middle school and high school marching and concert bands, as well as in the Houston Youth Symphony. She continued to play in her college marching band and wind ensembles.

After a few years in New York and Paris, Ro settled in Austin in 2003 and started a family. She joined the Austin live music scene ten years ago and since then has been in multiple bands either as drummer or as a keys player and singer.

Constantly growing as a musician, Ro feels lucky to be surrounded by people who inspire her. When not making music, she’s dancing! (teaching WERQ cardio dance), hanging out with family and friends, or reading a good book.

Sergio Carranza

Bass Guitar

Sergio was born and raised in Bolivia, where he learned to appreciate Latin American rhythms and music at an early age. He picked up a nylon string guitar in his early teens to learn how to play popular Latin songs of the 70’s and 80’s.

In 1999 Sergio and his wife moved from northern California to Austin and immediately took a liking to the blues.  Eventually, he built up the courage to get on stage and regularly play bass at Antone’s blues jams.  He went on to play in blues and Latin bands around town in the 2010’s.

In 2016 he met many talented musicians and joined them on several projects including classic rock, heavy metal, and grunge.  Sergio feels really lucky to share the stage with amazing friends as a member of Crystal Visions and play Fleetwood Mac’s music here in Austin!

When not on stage with Crystal Visions, Sergio loves to nerd-out on audio engineering equipment, volunteer for ESL instruction, bike around Town Lake, and play bass for Black Days, a 90’s grunge cover band.

Rich Doan

Keys + Acoustic Guitar

Born in Fort Knox, KY, Rich bounced around the country before settling in Austin in 2007.  In between, he learned to play piano and guitar.  He discovered Rumours in high school and is thrilled to be performing the music forty years later.

When he’s not playing with Crystal Visions or Rule the World (a Tears for Fears tribute band), he enjoys rock climbing, broadway musicals, and arranging Sondheim songs for the piano.

His favorite song to play is Tusk, on which he gets to be a one-man marching band.

Jeremy Ezell

Rhythm Guitar

Originally from Kansas, Jeremy has called Texas home for 20 years.

Raised on 60s and 70s rock and roll, he didn’t think twice when asked to join Crystal Visions. Being deeply influenced by blues rockers like Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, Paul Kossoff, and, of course, Peter Green, Jeremy has loved playing the hits of the more famous iteration of Fleetwood Mac with such wonderful and talented people.

In addition to nerding out on blues rock, guitars, and tube amps, Jeremy loves to cook, travel with his partner, Paige, and hang with family.

His favorite Fleetwood Mac songs are Gypsy and The Green Manalishi.
